An on-going appreciation of oranges and such.

When I was about 5 years old, my great-grandma called me into her room. She said she had ‘a little surprise’ for me. Very excited at first I was then quickly disappointed when I discovered that the surprise was a tangerine. I couldn’t help myself and I busted into tears. We had tangerines of our own at home already. Little did I realise then how precious they had once been during Soviet times.
